I'm washing our first load of CD's in our "new" washer. I'm nervously awaiting the end of the wash cycle.

Thanks mama! My CD's were one of the main reasons I didn't want to get a new washer. My old one (1985 version) was great with washing our CD's.

WOW!!! They came out amazingly clean! They are hanging to dry now and will be back on the bum tomorrow

I got the very basic top loader model of Whirlpool. If you're looking for one or need more info from mine feel free to pm me. I'd love to share

Thanks mamas for sharing my anticipation. I've heard so many stories over the years of mamas that got a new washer and then started having CD stink issues. It's one of the reasons I chose a very basic model washer, because for one thing I can set the water level on it.

I may have that same washer So glad it worked well for you. After reading the HE and front loader horror stories, I for once am so glad that I couldn't afford all of the bells and whistles!
