It probably won't stay for Long. Unless you colored 'inside' the feet?

I use various colors ....anythin with marker is Liams.

I would say mark one kids

I mark the black with the silver type...however I don't mark legs I mark the torso. Legs are usually just solid colored and if you own a torso then a set of legs is yours kwim.

I would also consider only labeling 'problem pieces' I'm sure there are 'special' ones causing the problem. And while duplos are generally for sharing, both my girls are very attached to certain special shaped pieces.
