Visits w/ bios on holidays for foster kids?

Wow, just wow!! Anything can happen if the SW wants it. A friend supervising?? Sheesh. Why do they bother removing in the first place? (sorry, I'm pretty dark today.)
And I agree with your original post. I had a he** of a day with SWs today, and after this placement goes home, I think we're done. Total lack of support, appreciation, and respect.

I only had one case where it was someone other than a CPS employee supervising. It was the grandparents and where I think mom's mom let things slide, I think the other grandparents were stricter. Even with that, I trusted them and really, the bparents were fine too. They were addicts but were clean during the time I had the baby so I didn't have major safety concerns at the time.

I think this is totally wrong if the child is no where reunification. What's the point of foster care then?

Yes we had one like this too. Ridiculous.
