Whats for dinner

Most likely turkey loaf with spinach, butternut squash (roasted with cinnamon and nutmeg and a sprinkling of organic sugar...yum!!!!! It's like candy And if we have left over rice, that as well. I normally do bigger lunches with hubby working second shift, but had errands to run, so he can just have the left overs Sunday.

Tonight we're trying the new Chinese restaraunt that opened just around the corner from us. The little kids have belt testing and we will go after.

Either shepherd's pie or pizza. I'm leaning toward pizza! I have the ground turkey thawed in the fridge already, but Fridays are usually my "I don't cook" day. Plus we're having a big group over after school for a playdate and the kids are decorating graham cracker houses, so I'm guessing by the time everyone leaves I won't want to cook.

Oooh, or maybe something quick and easy for the kids and Steak Express delivery for me and DH after they're in bed. I think I just talked myself into it! I love "date nights" after bedtime!

Tonight we're just going to have baked potatoes with fajita toppings

Last night was roast, potatoes and carrots in the crock pot served with rolls.Tonight will be frito salad(lettuce, green onions, tomatotes, velveta, ranch style beans, and fritos topped with catalina dressing).

Make extra sauce as that's what the kids enjoyed most. I mean, it's syrupy sugar sauce ... what's not to like? I poured it over their broccoli, too.

Oh yeah extra sauce, thanks for that. And yup, we're going with the broccoli too. I am practically drooling typing this, maybe I will make this today!

Last night was whole wheat pasta with bolognese, salad and garlic bread.

Tonight... I'm not sure yet. I need to make a big pot of beef stew to bring up to the mountains for tomorrow's big Christmas tree hunt. We may just eat some of that. Or I could make chicken fried rice. Or left over pasta from last night. Or shepherd's pie. I'm feeling rather indecisive.
