Thanks!
I don't know what the laws are for Texas. I really want to go to a birthing center but if not I will call up my last doctor to see if she'll do a vba2c.

Re: need advice ...
I would keep looking if you can't go to the birth center or your previous OB is unwilling to attend your VBA2C. Contacting ICAN, local doulas and perhaps even the birth center might be able to steer you in the right direction of a pro-VBA2C OB. I found one that is willing to allow me a TOL after 3 c/s and she is probably one of the only options in my area. Oh, and I am considered *high risk*, but NOT because of my previous c/s but because of my AMA (snort).

I'm definitely going to keep looking I DO NOT want another c/s .
If worst comes to worst I just won't show up to my c/s or I won't go to the hospital until I'm in labor! I live about 5 miles to a hospital and 30min to two other hospitals.

You're best chance is with a supportive provider. Usually that's a midwife out of hospital. In my state birthing centers cannot take vbac moms. It's illegal however home births aren't. It wasn't my first choice but because the restrictions set by the state I had a home birth. My midwife was amazing. She did more than any Dr I've ever seen. Not only was she caring for my pregnancy she helped me.overcome some emotional fears.
