How often?
How often do you pump while at work? I'm just finishing up my first week, and I'm thinking about every 2 hours? What's your schedule look like?

I work 12's on day shift at a hospital so I'm happy if I pump every 3-4 hours consistently... It depends a lot on where you work I'm sure!

I am away from my baby from 8-5:30ish, including commute. I started back when DS was 8 weeks. I pumped when I got to work, around noon and again at 3ish. At 6 months I dropped the morning pump and didn't notice any change in output, but my baby reverse cycles. It would be impossible for me to pump every two hours, it's a fight for me to get that 3 o'clock session in! Good luck mama!

Re: How often?
I pump twice at work. I try to feed her right before I leave, then pump about 3 hours after I get there and the 3 hours again. That makes it about 3 to 4 hours before I'm home and I feed her first thing usually.
I will say that quite often my first pump session is late and I always struggle to get the second pump in in a timely manner. But I've kept up with her demand feeding so its been alright. You'll find what works for your with situation. good luck!

Re: How often?
I work 6:30 to 2:30. Leave the house by 6am. Here is my daily schedule.
DD takes 3 3oz bottles while I am gone. This is my 2nd full week back to work. I am really hoping to keep my supply up and keep putting extra in the freezer. With both the boys my suppy tanked at about 6 months. 4:30/5:00--baby wake to eat. (if she doesn't wake up then I wake her and feed her. She goes right back to sleep) 5:30--pump the side she didn't eat on before leaving for work (I get 5.5oz) 8:30/9:00am--pump and get 6 oz 12:00pm--pump and get between 4 and 5oz 3:00 pick up kids from daycare 3:30 home and feed DD. Daycare is very good to give her her last bottle betwen 12:00 and 1:00 so she is ready to eat when we get home.

Re: How often?
I worked yesterday for a conference and will go back to work full time next month. I have a one month old.
I nursed at 6:30am, pumped at 9:30am, 12:30pm, and 3:30pm, then nursed again at 6pm when getting home. The baby had three 3oz bottles while I was gone. This will likely be my schedule when I return full time as well.

Re: How often?
Thanks for the help! I will probably pump every 3 hours then. My biggest worry going back to work is my supply decreasing! I should be fine though

Re: How often?
I nurse around 6:30-7:00 depending on when DS wakes up
I pump around 10:00,1:00 and 4:00 and DS eats 3, 4 oz bottles while I'm away. I normally feed him around 6:30pm or 7:00 pm. Right now I aim to pump around 30 minutes, but that is a big struggle!
