Thanks for all the options! Shopping is not easy from the island but I have go to the mainland for a dr appt tomorrow so I am going to try old navy. Sine we have one close enough.

we put babylegs over my daughter's socks (under or over her trousers); they keep them up, they keep her legs warm, and they keep her from pulling the ruddy things off.

the socks, not the legs.

I really like Old Navy socks. H&M also has some thicker ones that are nice and warm.

Old Navy and The Children's Place. Carter's are OK but with DS chunky little legs, they generally end up sliding down and hanging off his toes so I am constantly pulling them up.

I like the cheap rite aid socks. They are stretchy and I can pull them up over DS's calf so they don't fall off.

Gap, Children's Place, some and some Circo (I liked the packs with stripes, but not the individuals as much). I think these brands held up better then any others, and some were actually hand me downs when DS was smaller. I haven't really liked anything else, though should try the gymbo now, I love their underpants.
