Filling up the Freezer?

I'll be filling our freezer. We don't live near family so I really have no one to help. Plus DH might miss this birth so I need to make sure the kids and I have food to eat.

I am planning on completely stocking our big freezer. Our DS was such a tough newborn that I am just planning for the same this time. The blog sixsistersstuff has a lot of tried and true freezer meals. I have made a lot of them and they are good! Sorry I am mobile or I would post a link....

I've started with a few meals here and there, but I have to start cracking down and getting it done. My goal is to have two months of food prepared. This is my first pregnancy and I have rheumatoid arthritis and from everything I've read I will most likely have a huge flare after giving birth so I want to be prepared. My husband doesn't cook and I don't have my mom so I feel like there's no other option than being prepared

My sister is planning a "come meet the baby" party for us when our little girl arrives. The invitation will ask for no gifts at my request but she will note that it they like the family would love a freezer meal at this busy time to help out.

Our church brings us meals the first two Weeks or so, its awesome and a fun way for people to get to meet the baby without feeling like they're intruding or anything. But I suppose a few means for after that would be a good idea, especially some soups. I love having soups in the freezer waiting to be reheated!

I really need to get going on meals. My freezer is small but I edding want to wait till the last minute.... especially since wer don't know when Daniel will be leaving. I don't want to wait till the last minute.

It has been so nice to get some meals made, I feel better already! Plus I have been making one for dinner that night and one to freeze so we have been eating really yummy foods the last couple days!

I does feel nice getting it out of the way... I just haven't gotten to out yet. :/

Plus my freezer is small so I can only put so much in before its full. I really need to get cracking! I'd hate for Daniel to be sent away soon and have that be one more thing to worry about.
