Blessed with Children, Struggling for More week of December 10th
This thread is for women that have children who are trying to have more and struggling with infertility (IF). You fall into the IF category if you have been trying for more than a year or if you have known fertility issues. Some have secondary IF and some have primary IF. Some of us are TTC naturally and some need treatments of some type. All are welcome!
We also have women who are praying to make it. Due to prior losses or IF they don't feel like they should join a due date board till after the first 12 weeks. We are truly happy to support you as you transition. Please just keep in mind that we are a group of woman struggling with IF and be sensitive to that as you post. If you put a pregnancy ticker or smiley in your signature, please turn off your signature when you post in this thread. Thank you! Please note: When your information needs to be updated, please highlight the area that needs to be updated. This will make it easier for me to update you. If you'd like to be added please post your info using the format below. Please note: I remove names if you are inactive for one month. This really helps keep the list more manageable, if you would like to be added back, just repost your info. ![]() Women TTC: Screen Name (Real Name): Millermyer2 (Laura) Age: 29, DH is 28 Current Children and age: Miller (1-29-09) & Myer (10-12-10) Lost Children and dates: CP - 2008 Diagnosis: none Treatment: none Next appointment: March for my yearly(hopefully we will get some answers then!) Yes we are planning IUI. I'm ok, physically feeling better though I've got a stomach bug today
and emotionally it depends on the moment. My biggest issue is just I am so afraid we won't get pg again or if we do that we will lose it again.

Re: Blessed with Children, Struggling for More week of December 10th
Amy, hope you're doing okay...AFM--I'm waiting for AF, which should be due Saturday-ish, then I have to get into the RE's to get the IVF cycle started. Hopefully the timing will work out, b/c if it goes like I think it might, I should be due for retrieval right around New Year's...and DP was going out of state to visit family between Xmas & New Year But I'm hoping against hope that A) I get pg, B) DP gets an awesome new job (she just finished her program for her school administration certificate), & C) I can stay home for a little while, at least part-time. My job stinks right now, & even though we just started DD at a DC, & DP & I like it so far, DD is having a super hard time & it kills me every day to do drop off. Or I'll have to make DP start doing drop off, b/c I think DD's behavior would be better that way...I'm the softy!

Re: Blessed with Children, Struggling for More week of December 10th
Hey ladies! It's been a while since I posted. I have been lurking and following along. And praying for all you wonderful ladies
AFM - I did a fresh IVF cycle in November. It really took a huge toll on me emotionally and physically. I am usually a very non emotional, practical person but dealing with all the appts and shots and craziness was just too much. I even took a little hiatus from all of the internet aroung Thanksgiving because I just could not take it. Well my retreival was 11/27, got 12 eggs total. 10 fertilized We did a 5 day blasto transfer on 12/2, only one baby and froze 5 blasts !!!!! Today was my blood draw. I have had negative tests all weekend so I was not thinking anything. I just got off the phone and the nurse said my beta was 44 I am pregnant!?! I totally don't believe it! After nap, I need to run out and buy some more pregnancy test ( I have only been using internet cheapies and nothing shows up! Gonna get a digital to take in the am). I have to go back on Wedn for another blood draw to see how my beta is progressing. I am so excited but so scared! I already yelled at my mom and sister this morning for calling and bugging me about whether I had heard anything. I told them that I have been getting BFNs and leave me alone. Now I feel bad But I am so scared to tell anyone. What if it is a chemical pregnancy? Maybe I should wait till after I get my beta back on Wednes to tell my mom and sister? I don't even want to update offically yet because I am so scared that it is wrong or something? AHHHHHHHH!

Re: Blessed with Children, Struggling for More week of December 10th
Quick update:
Cancelled my appointment today because of the roads. I probably could have made it but the time it would have taken me to get there and back after school my dad would have missed work, so I had to cancel. I have been crying and upset about it all day. I'll now be waiting another month (more than likely longer as this is CD25 and I still haven't O'ed) for a progesterone test and then the following cycle to start Clomid. Nothing is working out

Re: Blessed with Children, Struggling for More week of December 10th
Okay mama's I have a situation I want to run by all of you! Friday 12/7 I got to work and was fine then all of a sudden I was overcome with lightheaded dizziness...checked my Bloodsugar, blood pressure and all were okay...I then proceded to vomit but didn't have a quesy feeling or anything like a bug...Went home from work took a FRER not FMU of course and got a faint faint positive...my HCG on Wed 12/5 was 6 down from a previous 27 on 11/21...so here is my issue.... I has some light bleeding AF kind on 12/5 and 12/6 and then spotting on 12/7. Do you think my HCG is still being picked up that low on the FRER or do you think I could be Preggers and should retest? My Midwife thought it could still be from the previous loss but thougth maybe it should be out of my system by now... I haven't retested but have been tempted too because don't want to waist a FRER on a BFN! KWIM

and emotionally it depends on the moment. My biggest issue is just I am so afraid we won't get pg again or if we do that we will lose it again.

That fear has never completely gone away for me, but it has lessened over time enough that after a few month I am always ready to move forward again. Sometimes it does take longer than others. I hope you can find peace and healing quickly.

But I'm hoping against hope that A) I get pg, B) DP gets an awesome new job (she just finished her program for her school administration certificate), & C) I can stay home for a little while, at least part-time. My job stinks right now, & even though we just started DD at a DC, & DP & I like it so far, DD is having a super hard time & it kills me every day to do drop off. Or I'll have to make DP start doing drop off, b/c I think DD's behavior would be better that way...I'm the softy!

We did a 5 day blasto transfer on 12/2, only one baby and froze 5 blasts !!!!!
