Diaper Swappers

So this week I had my baby girl at home! She was 7 lbs 10 oz. Born 12 days early. I was in and out of the birth pool, but she ended up being born in the pool. Had some incredible back labor, but she was still face down when she arrived. I wonder if an arm or hand might have been up by her face.
My water broke at 11am, but I didn't have any contractions until 4pm. Then they were easy peasy until 12:30am and she was born at 4. Midwife showed up at 2 something. Overall, 3 days later, I am very pleased. Hubs was my superhero through the whole thing (he was worried that he wouldn't be for some reason). Her name is Claire Belle.

This one is of Claire seconds after she was born...look at all that vernex! I can't believe how much she had...it was rubbing off on everything!

My DS was born 3 1/2 weeks early and had a TON of vernix like that too!
