Dr Phil today

Is anyone watching/has anyone watched today's Dr Phil that's picking apart attachment parenting? We don't do every part of it, but I really feel for the mom on stage. He's got several women telling why it's so awful.

I saw it. People are way too judgmental. I think the expert lady was awful (the one sitting in the audience) she had no good advice and felt kids shouldn't necessarily be around to raise.

The one that claimed she was suffering greatly from attachment parenting was irrelevant, too. All of her issues easily described my husband, and his mother was the absolute opposite of an attachment parent. In fact, she was as detached as a custodial parent could be.

I never watch Dr. Phil. He's a moron and the only reason he has a show on TV is because he's friends with Oprah.

She made no sense, how would attachment parenting affect her like? She didn't have any good reasoning why or how?

I'm watching it. And laughing. I will say I wore dd and DS cause it was convenient. I didn't know it was part of attachment. They also slept with me for a while.

The helicopter mom would drive me crazy. I would call the cops on her. .

Honestly I laughed when we watched it because i told DH it would end up being bashed on here. Frankly I thought it was rather equally sided. He agreed that breastfeeding older kids could be beneficial, had an expert ped that agreed with attachment parenting including safe co sleeping and extended breast feeding. I didn't think it got bashed at all.
