Diaper Swappers

A well meaning relative did something similar for DD. except that my complaint had been that I loved a certain pair of shoes and was upset that they didn't come in DD's size (except on eBay).

The relative was trying to be helpful and bought them in a too-small size.

I called the shipper and they provided free return shipping and let me replace the item with something I wanted without the relative knowing (woot diapers.com!)

Anyways, if it came from the shipper - call them. You might be surprised. If she sent it directly, then I'd return yours and get something new from her like previously suggested.

I would call the relative and ask WTF? Then ask how they would like to proceed.

Can you return the one you bought? If not sell on CL or ebay. What about a local consignment shop?

With many different realitves all asking for ideas I often double up with out realizeing and this what I do. Last year the boys got 4 tents.

Or If I know one of the boys will have a party to go to soon it becomes the gift for them. Saves me the trouble of shopping later.

Where was it purchased from? Can you take it to the local store and exchange it for something else or get store credit for it? If so, do that. If not, put it on Craigslist or Ebay. or ask around to other families you know to see if anyone would like to buy it off of you at a discount.

It was purchased from an online discount warehouse, and the one we bought we bought locally but months ago and can't return either. I think I am going to try selling or trading it on craigslist or maybe with a playgroup mom.

I'm being vague because I am not sure whether the person knows I'm on here, but I will pm you what it is.
