Exactly this is what we experienced
With our 12mo. She goes back to sleep within 5min and if I go to give her back the paci or
Something, she just wakes up
More and then she has a hard time to fall back asleep.

Thats my DS although sometimes its every hour or every 20 minutes. I just go and lay with him (we co sleep) until he goes back to sleep everytime. I'll admit when he's woken every 20 minutes for 3 hours in a row I get a little exasperated (and no one else can put him back to sleep...just me) but ultimately I just do it b/c I know it won't last forever and I know I'm going to look back on it in a few years and wish I could go back (albeit maybe just for a visit ). He isn't the kind of kid who can fuss himself to sleep though, he just gets more worked up.
