Accupuncture to start labor?
Anyone tried it? Know anyone that had? There is a woman near me that does labor induction treatments for $75. I'm willing to try anything to avoid medical induction. im 3cm 80% so I'm thinking I am favorable and I've had prodromal labor for weeks at this point. I feel like it can't hurt, but could be a waste of money. Any experience out there???

I did it to try to avoid induction. It was relaxing, didn't hurt more than a mosquito bite ("pain" lasting a second). It did feel a bit strange, kind of like when you get a leg twitch.
It didnt work for me. But then, neither did walking, dtd, epo or nipple stim. |

Thanks for the reply!! I talked to the place and did some basic googling. Looks like most acupuncturists quote 70% within 48 hrs. I'm gonna make an appt for tomorrow and sat if I need it before my Monday OB appt. I figure if I have a 50% chance out if it it's worth it !!
