Re: How many people actually prefer OS?
I don't like OS because I think a zillion snaps all over the front looks really funny. I love sized simplex.

Re: How many people actually prefer OS?
!!!!!!!!LOVE OUR BG's!!!!! Foruse it takes a little while our kiddos to get into the OS but they stay in them till PL'd. DS was the only exception because he hit a chuncky period just before he PL'd and I needed something that was easier to slide up and down. They still fit, but not loose enough for pling kwim? They were still usable. DD#1 wore our BG's till she started potty training and I switched her right over to panties. (side note totally off topic, but switching ds and dd to undies was the only thing that got them to use the potty, trained me to keep on it instead of relying on the diaper to catch everything )ATM my 1yr old is about the size of a 9 month old, very petite. She's been in our BG's since 3 months. I only used NB pfs and flats till then.

Re: How many people actually prefer OS?
I love my SoftBums Echos (OS). I do not like the other OS diapers that I've tried.

I LOVE the trimness of my sized diapers, but the echo comes so close, and works so well that it is my favorite diaper hands down. But even on my 1 year old, I find my OS bulky. So if he needs pants on, I always go for the echos, or a sized option. |

Re: How many people actually prefer OS?
Granted, I've only tried Haute Pockets and some cheap MIC OS, but I'm not a huge fan of them. They worked from shortly after birth to almost 2yrs for my son, but he hasn't learned to use the potty regularly and his OS diapers no longer fit him. I love love love my large-sized Fuzzi Bunz and I've always been a fan of tri-folding with sized diaper covers (really like Bummis.)

Re: How many people actually prefer OS?
Maybe it's because my son is on the small side, but the OS I tried looked bulky on him even when he was over a year old! Plus most OS don't come in side-snaps, and front-snapping diapers don't fit him well, either.

Re: How many people actually prefer OS?
Well really I like both...
I like sized for the tiny stage no one size comes close to fitting that I have tried and even when they start too they are sooo bulky in the lower range.. I love one size for the bulk of diapering became I can ussually adjust them smaller or larger as the baby grows and changes often not jsut bigger but goes from chunkier but shorter to talller and skinnier and back again.
