Not necessarily toddler speak but....I bartend part time and one of my regulars (before he became a regular) ordered crown and wawa. He didn't even notice he said it, I didn't blink an eye and said you must have kiddos. He looked very confused and then he got it. All my regulars cracked up! Now everytime he comes in I say crown and wawa? Haha!

Caden also says Ernie for Elmo. And my mom got him an Elmo sandwich cutter & he will ask for an Ernie sandwich which is PB&J. (I try not to use the cutter bc it's a pain to wash & it wastes bread, but he still calls it an Ernie sandwich)
Han?-as he rolls up his sleeves & asks to "wash" dishes (I think he is saying hands) Sent from my iPhone using DS Forum

Re: What toddler-speak have you picked up?
I was just thinking about this tonight when DH was telling me a story about something that happened when he was in the military. He was talking about climbing into his sleeping bag and said "when you get all snuggly..." I about died laughing.

Re: What toddler-speak have you picked up?
Oh and also:
Kiss-Hug-Nose= goodbye kisses. It's actually a whole ritual. It started with my now 17 year old, when she was little. When she would say goodbye to my sister, my sister would give her a kiss goodbye, then do "eskimo kisses." At the time, my dd couldn't say "eskimo kisses" so she just called it "noses." In the way of toddlers and preschoolers, it progressed to add a hug. And now my 4 yr old has added hugs on each side and an extra kiss at the end lol.
