It's not draining at all? Even slowly? That's odd... I wonder what's in there?
My friend did a toiletry-ectomy last year. Her daughter flushed the entire contents of the shower down the toilet, including the travel sized bottles of shampoos. But, (fortunately you are renting) they had to pay $4000 to re-do the pipes under the house. They had some plumber in to send a camera through the pipes to find out what was blocking it... it was two my little ponies, and a small bottle of Avon Bubble Bath.
