She was the quack, not him. She has all her kids living on her property and she thinks it's fine to enter their houses whenever she wants even though they keep asking her for some respect. The kids are grown, 40's, with families of their own. She was ridiculous!

I just saw that part. I was glad he had dr sears on to break up an entire audience making fun of the one mom.

My husband said son-in-law needs to start walking around pantsless, and they need to start banging on the couch.

Re: Dr Phil today

I only got to see part of it.

I thought both sides were very valid. I DO see moms misusing the concept of "attachment parenting". I DO see attached kids who can't function at all away from their moms. I see it all the time. Attachment parenting should not be an excuse for overparenting. Even attached kids need to make affordable mistakes now so they learn how to make good choices before making a mistake they can't afford.

I think there are extremes on both sides.

But, I thought he/they chose a very normal mom to do that segment. I didn't think she was doing anything wrong (that I could see) She says her husband agrees completely.

I don't think it's right to put your husband out of the bedroom in favor of your kids...unless he is completely on board. I see too many moms who say "well, I have kids now, I don't really need you, so you sleep on the couch". (In the segment, the husband/daddy sleeps as a family)

I didn't see it, but I bet she would probably come back in an hour or two after ward knowing they're done!
