Yup, I'd just go without. I don't have a middle name. It's actually quite unique in North America not to have one!

If you went without a middle name for a dd could she add one when she got married, I assume? I know a lot of women who use their maiden name as a middle name if they took their husbands' name. I always thought that was a cool idea, but I was named after my grandma and didnt want her to be disappointed if I got rid of it. So if you went without a middle name it would be perfect way to keep her maiden name (if she decided to use her husband's name).
