Re: for those who had twins at how many weeks did you have birth?
This was 21 years ago, but my twin brothers were born at 34 weeks, one was briefly on oxygen, both had very minimal stays in the NICU, I want to say a week? One ended up with a hernia which require surgery a few weeks after birth, both had issues with breastfeeding and were not off of supplements until 8 weeks.
But after all of that, went on to be perfectly adjusted with no issues whatsoever. |

Re: for those who had twins at how many weeks did you have birth?
I choose 37 weeks. One had low blood sugar & the other had mild breathing difficulties. No NICU time & we stayed for 3 days because i had a c-section.

Re: for those who had twins at how many weeks did you have birth?
I'm preggo with twins due April 10, expect them sometime in March. I'm considering a VBAC after 2 c-sections, am I crazy? I think it might be possible b/c they will be so small...

Re: for those who had twins at how many weeks did you have birth?
My twins were born at 29 weeks, induced early because of twin-to-twin transfer. NICU stay of 3 months. I share because this shows that even in very scary situations your babies can turn out fine
My girls are nearly 2 now and super healthy!

Re: for those who had twins at how many weeks did you have birth?
It's so terrible, I CAN'T REMEMEBER!!! lol!! I think i was just so grateful to have them out!
It was 37 weeks, not sure of how many days. I went into labor but opted for a c-section - 1) because my child before them was a c-section and 2) i could tell something wasn't quite right, just like with previous child. Baby B was breech, so it all worked out ok. Anyway, everybody was healthy, and stayed with me in my room. One twin developed jaundice and had to have light therapy for a few days. We actually went home with her and then had to bring her back to the hospital for another night. They are both perfectly fine now, as almost 2 year olds. Good luck, have fun and be flexible!!!

36w2d- vaginal, baby B was breech, and 17 days in the NICU for both. Slight breathing problems and they had trouble feeding. They're now 9 months and we are still nursing strong.
