With my dd I only puked once and had some short bouts of morning sickness. With ds I had some morning sickness...don't remember puking. With this baby I've only puked (more like gagged and puked up some fluid) once...but have suffered a lot of morning sickness. The worst so far!!

Re: Which gender gave you the most morning sickness?

Girls. 3 girls & 3 boys.. Other than occassional nausea that was very short lived, I didn't have a hint of morning sickness with my boys. With my first girl, I had Hypermesis Gravidarum and with my other 2 girls I had morning sickness that was severe enough to require an Rx of Zofran so I could hold food & drink down.

Re: Which gender gave you the most morning sickness?

Girls. For both my sister and I! We had boys first (her: 2 boys and me: 3 boys) and had some mild nausea (the stronger of the mild nausea for me was with my 3rd boy). When we were pregnant with our girls though... bad. Laying on the couch, not wanting to move bad.

We also made a bit more milk after our girls were born than with our boys (we both have inadequate milk glands... boo). Thought that was so weird!!!

Re: Which gender gave you the most morning sickness?

DD1- Hyperemesis Gravidarum, had me in the hospital regularly for IV fluids and nutrients
DS1- Mild morning sickness that came and went through 20 weeks
DD2- Mild nausea that came and went through the whole pregnancy
DS2- Hyperemesis Gravidarum, IV fluids, nutrients, and Zofran round the clock through 15 weeks. Still dealing with "normal" morning sickness and bouts of intense vomiting at 25 weeks.

I had ZERO morning sickness with both pregnancies. (Girl, then Boy)
My Friend who has HORRIBLE morning sickness had a boy, then girl and then another boy and her sickness was worse with each pregnancy.

Re: Which gender gave you the most morning sickness?

I know women carrying girls are at a slightly higher risk for HG, so it seems likely that girls would cause more sickness. I'm team green so I can't really say, I couldn't say which was worse anyhow, they've just been managed very differently.
