Re: Which gender gave you the most morning sickness?
I have all one gender so maybe my input is irrelevant but for my four living children I had
1. super bad m/s 2. none 3.mild 4. moderate I don't think anyone really understands what causes it, but with my experience I couldn't say it's related to gender.

Re: Which gender gave you the most morning sickness?
With DD I had morning till about 10 weeks and it was all day but not too horrible. With DS it was all day and I couldn't keep water down before noon till 17-18 weeks. With this LO which is another girl it was about the same as with DD lasting till about 12 weeks. So worse with my boy.

I've had hyperemesis 4 times, pretty severe with my older 2 (girls), very severe requiring home IV therapy and a zofran pump for my son and this baby I'm 31 weeks with now. We're team green this time but suspect a boy again. Not sure if its gender related or if HG is just getting worse with each pregnancy.

Re: Which gender gave you the most morning sickness?
I never felt nauseous when I was on my first trimester with my two kids. I only remember that I always get up at 6AM in the morning like an alarm clock that has been set the night before and I find it weird. I never suffered from morning sickness at all during my early period of pregnancy.

Re: Which gender gave you the most morning sickness?
I can't say how boys would make me feel but with two of my girls I had ms and with one none at all. The first two weren't bad, either- I'd throw up maybe 5 times a day but could function pretty normally in between.

Re: Which gender gave you the most morning sickness?
I had bad m/s with DD and Elli, next-to-nothing with any of the boys.
I also had bad m/s for the first trimester with Hiccup - but we won't know if it stays "true" until spring! It does make me wonder... but I'm trying not to think of Hiccup as a girl - don't want to get too "set" on that, kwim?

I couldn't vote. I had no sickness really with my first DS and everyone, dr's included, said the thing about higher HG perhaps meaning this LO was a girl because I was SO sick!!! It was awful. This baby is definitely a boy too though, so the old wives tails didn't apply for me.

Re: Which gender gave you the most morning sickness?
pregnancy 1 - I had 2 weekends of nausea. One at 6wks and one at 14. That was it except a few waves of very slight nausea here and there. Single boy.
pregnancy 2 - very nauseous from before the BFP to about 18 wks. Boy/girl twins. pregnancy 3 - very nauseous from before BFP to about 20wks. boy/boy twins pregnancy 4 - very nauseous from before BFP to about 22wk and then again starting around 28wks. Single boy. For me, I only had one girl and she was with a boy. That was not my worst MS experience. The worst was probably a tie between my second set of twins (both boys) and my last boy. I also know my pregnancy hormone levels. They were higher with my 1st twin pregnancy than my second or my last pregnancy. But, my nausea was still less with them. And, my levels with my first were pretty high too in comparing with other singles. (My last pregnancy started as twins and my levels were much higher than my single.) So, it doesn't always have to do with hormone levels, but how our body reacts to it that time around.

Re: Which gender gave you the most morning sickness?
It was true for me. My boys = m/s a few hours a day from 6-12 weeks, my DD = all day m/s from 6-18 weeks.
