Re: How to entertain a 13 month old on a plane!
You'll survive, mama.
If your son will pay attention to movies, I would bring a portable DVD player, iPad, iPhone or whatever you have available for him to watch movies. I don't allow my kids to watch a lot of TV, but when we travel I allow them to watch as much as they want. It makes it a lot easier. I've also purchased "travel toys" before the trip, and I don't allow them to see them until we're on the flight so that it's a surprise and it captures their interest. Bring a change of clothes for him, plenty of diapers and snacks. I'm always prepared for possible delays, many airports don't even sell diapers.

Re: How to entertain a 13 month old on a plane!
I am taking a long flight with my (at time of travel) 14 month old. Will a child this young accept a headset? I am tempted to buy a child specific set but I am not sure my son will use them. Any words of advice?
