help with re locating to LA area

Hi mamas we are looking to move to the LA area well surrounding area. We have had a 2nd place in Hollywood (currently live on the east coast) but now we are looking to move there. I wanted to get some info from Mamas as well as the realtor. (you know how some realtors can be biased kick backs etc) We are looking for a really nice family friendly neighborhood. Good school district would be great but will probably do private school. Any good private school recs? Gated communities??

What price range? That can help you get in touch with a realtor with connections in that price point. A realtor who sells 3 million dollar homes us gonna have different connections than one that does a lot of 750,000 ones-

Okay- first question I am getting is what area? LA is huge- do you know approximate area? Close to work to cut down commute..? Lmk! I'm getting some people ready to make recommendations!

Consider Arcadia. The public school system there is excellent.

Torrance schools are supposed to be excellent as well. West Torrance/South Redondo is beautiful-mellow-nice and doesn't seem as busy and bustly as L.A. proper. Rolling Hills Estates and Palos Verdes area is spectacular. These are all my personal opinions though. I've lived in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles, and then Culver City. We landed here in West Torrance and have been here for about seven months and I couldn't be happier.
