Have you found 3T-4T Sized Gloves for snow (vrs mittens)

My 3 year old prefers gloves (don't we all) but the only gloves we have are stretch gloves so not very warm, We have some nice mittens but he isn't always willing to wear them.

Have you found toddler/preschooler sized gloves that are at least somewhat waterproof and warm?

I don't recall finding gloves that were at all waterproof at that age. You might be able to find someone who could make some out of wool for you and you can keep them lanolized, but they'd probably be a bit pricey.

My kids quickly learned that it was either mittens or not playing outside, so the arguments stopped really quick.

Unfortunately my son doesn't really like the cold nor is he great with transitions. He would probably just stay inside.

I cant remember but children's place might. I know in the non waterproof ones they did but not sure about waterproof.

These Obermeyer Thumbs up look promising. They are on amazon and ebay. Expensive though. Also Zappos but limited colors/sizes.

I haven't, no. I was thinking about it, and I think we got waterproof gloves for our kids around age 5 from Lands End or LL Bean.

I have found the best waterproof gloves for my little guys at the local ski shop. There is one brand we like a lot that opens wide on top of the hand sorta of in a "L" shape. Which makes it easier to get one little finger in each slot. The inside material of the thumb is red so that the little kids know which one goes on which hand.

We have had a pair of Obermeyer gloves in the past. But the velcro would come sometimes catch on their coat sleeves.
