I actually didn't expect him to have that reaction. I thought we had discussed this briefly last time. But maybe not, it's been a couple years. I told him I could make it into smoothies cause I thought he'd be like 'pills are better'. But he was just like 'tell me they're vitamins'. Lol

Re: Placenta encapsulation
Just FYI when buying capsules - I got the "regular" size instead of the "horse pill" size (can't remember the letter differentiation, but not the super jumbos anyway) and I got 183 capsules out of it... So buy enough that you won't run out LOL

Re: Placenta encapsulation
Maybe I haven't been taking mine right but I haven't noticed a difference. Or maybe my emotional issues are so much that the placenta pills are just too "weak" to help me.

This is kind of what I am worried about. I had severe PPD and ppa with my first and I am worried that the pills will not be enough to help. I am due in 4 weeks and planning on having my placenta encapsulated. Did anyone on here have pretty severe post partum issues with a previous child and notice a big difference when they encapsulated their placenta? Thanks!

Re: Placenta encapsulation
I have never done it before but am going to this time for sure. While I have heard that it is easy to do myself, I have decided to hire a certified professional to do it for me. I just can't see adding that to my "to do" list in the first few days after the baby was born.

Re: Placenta encapsulation
I'm having mine done and it should be delivered to me Saturday, we'll see how it goes. I usually only have mild to moderate ppd, and I'm hoping this helps.
