Anyone do kettlebells?

I have decided to try kettlebells and was wondering if anyone out there has done them and tell me their experience? I prefer shorter, more intense workouts and I think they look like fun! I really need the shorter since DS likes to whine when I try to workout and sometimes only takes a 30 minute nap, I need something that really gets the job done in a short amount of time. I got a 15 lb one today and have tried a few moves and I really like it so far. I can really see it toning me all over! And my DS seems less interested in it, so I may actually be able to do it while he is awake! .

When I did crossfit I did kettle bell swings and one armed clean and jerk type movements. I love everything kettle bell related. I need to buy one since I'm no longer cfing. You might find you need to move up to a higher weight if you do kettle bell swings. Since you're using so much more body than arm strength. I heard they make nice butts because the way you pop and tighten.

i tried it.. but for me i didnt care for it( small house.. no room lol).. i have a kettle bell exercise booki just bought that shows different exercises and such i wil lbe posting for sale if you are interested. . for me due to household and 3 active boys hand weights work best just due to fear of swinning a kettlebell n boppin a kiddo on accident:/

Thanks for replying! I probably will move up pretty quickly in weight, at least for the more full bodied movements, but the 15 seems just right at the moment. But I've never done weight training before, so I'm pretty weak .

Check out Pinterest for kettle all workouts. I used them with my trainer and loved them. Just bought a 15 lb one today !
