Im not really procrastinating per say cause we don't have the money to get stuff we need right this second (we're waiting on tax money) Im sure if we didn't have tax money coming we would find a way to get the stuff but there is no need to try if we have money coming!

So I haven't actually gotten anything else "done" on my list, but we have decided we aren't getting a second crib, we thought about it and by the time the new baby is going to be moved in to a crib, dd should be in a toddler bed, and my mom has one is storage for us, so all we need is a matress for it.

I need to make one of these lists too! Let's see...

Clean out spare bedroom, swap our bed and whatnot to that room (it's larger)
Fix the window in the smaller bedroom
Paint the smaller bedroom
Buy vinyl wall decals
Buy bedding set on eBay (it's discontinued, sadly)
Remove closet doors and replace with curtain or sliding doors
Paint living room and hallway
Replace floors in living room, kitchen, hallway, and bathroom (landlord is paying, but we have to have it done by April)
Go pick up all the hand-me-downs waiting for us...car seat and bassinet from one friend, pack & play and umbrella stroller and boppy from another, space saver high chair and low bookshelves from the last
Make the rest of the nb and small diapers I bought fabric for
Switch to the birth center (not delivering in a germy hospital!!)
Fix my old car (needs a new engine) and sell either my current car, or husband's car
Take the two about-to-expire carseats that were given to us, and trade them in at BRU for 25% off coupons
Pick a middle name, for pete's sake!

Re: Pre Baby preparation list

I'm not even sure where to start. DH and I are waiting on tax money as well. The biggest items on our list is to purchase a larger vehicle and finish remodeling the house we will be moving into. The car can't wait, but if necessary the house can (I'll make do where we are). I'm really hoping that a lot of the needed items get knocked out when we have a shower. Aside from that I'll be cleaning, organizing, sorting hand-me downs, starting a CD stash, and packing the hospital bag.
