Pre Baby preparation list

We need to:
Come up with a middle name
Clean out the office (because once Kate comes we won't have time haha!)
Go through and declutter the big kids' room
Wait on my customs (wool & fitteds) to come in
Organize Kate's diapers/wool/clothing (will be in our room)
Locate saved baby items and wash them
After baby shower, figure out what else we need (most likely a few odds and ends)
Get the house deep cleaned (hello nesting!)
Deep clean the van
Wash the car seat cover and install in van (probably not until I'm in labor)
Pick up some bigger nursing bras and I'd like some more supportive nursing sleep bras
Make a list for mine and DH's hospital bag and pack it BEFORE 38 weeks! I never have my bag packed and DH has to do it haha!

lists are good! Using Pinterest tokeep track of what I need, due early June with # 2 after 15 years! Need to:
De-clutter several rooms (it's bad I am a pack rat but NOT dirty or a hoarder---DH might disagree lol)
Go thru what I kept from DS (started)
Keep buiding C-D supplies!
Get stroller and carseat
Home birth kit (2nd HB!)
The list goes on.....in addition to needing to get clothes that fit and remembering to try and exercise! lol
It sure is fun, though!

Knocked a couple more things off my list, I cleared out the dresser in the nursery, I got girl clothes back from my cousin in case it's a girl, I got some pre fitteds from an awesome mama (Sonja!) I ordered some THX's from the coop. That's about it! As soon as the tax money comes in (hopefully soon seeing how tomorrow is Feb 1st) I'll be able to knock some more off!

~ bought bunk bed , mattress and bedding set, will be picking up Tuesday

~ bought infant car seat
~ ordered 18 THX NB's to go along with 4 fitteds and 11 prefitted's (need to get more fitteds and covers

As soon as the bunk bed is here and set up the crib will be going into the babies room

I have 4months to go and cleared out the room that will be the nursery, it was full of all my crafting stuff and phew it took some serious work to clear it out. Now im just trying to budget and purchase baby items while I still have my income. this is our first baby so im trying not to go baby item crazy even though I so wish I could. I would love to meet some friends on here, there arent really many moms my age that are easy to meet locally.

Get all my travel size things together (containers for soap, toothbrush, ect) * Need to so this ASAP as I wish I had it prepared for my current stay for my kidney infection.

Pack hospital bag

Make sure all babysitting is lined up for any given day of the week


Pack a bag for my other kids

Buy and pack disposable diapers and Pul-Ups for my other kids while I'm in the hospital

Make sure DH has cash for food and snacks for in my room ready, plus his bag ready to go.

refurbish rocking chair & bring out of basement
order PP corset
buy a wetbag
get a pouch sling
find DS's ergo carrier, wash it
diaper prep
baby laundry
install diaper sprayer in basement sink
start cooking and freezer stocking

I have no idea where to really start other then washing any CD I get from now until May. I am getting married in March, having my first born in may then moving 300+ miles after I heal. Sooooo, much to do and no idea where to start.

i got so much done this month, our nursery is pretty well finished, i just want to pick up a shelf and a night light.

so all that's left is getting the bassinet and bouncy seat out if storage, sew the last few newborn diapers, and wash all the newborn diapers. yay!! my list is getting smaller!!

oh and i need a few new parts for my pump and a nasal aspirater.
