Re: Does my perfect diaper exist: AIO or AI2 with no MF, and stay-dry inner?
Swaddlebees Simplex OS--I love them! They're the fastest drying AIO I've ever had.

Grovia staydry soakers are cotton/hemp with staydry top. No microfiber.

You could sew natural fiber inserts into pockets for a sort of DIY AIO.

If you want to stay cheap, I'd get cheap pockets and use prefolds to stuff. Otherwise I think the Grovia AI2s with staydry inserts, Swaddlebees AIOs, or Capris are best bets but they are all pricey options.

What about gcloth? Aren't those hemp/cotton with stay dry on top? We used them as the top layer of our night diaper for a long time over a flip organic. In all sorts of covers except a gdiaper.

Re: Does my perfect diaper exist: AIO or AI2 with no MF, and stay-dry inner?
Great ideas! Yes I've used Alva pockets with bamboo inserts but I think I'm done with pockets. I don't like stuffing/removing and they seem to leak randomly and never work for my heavy wetters at night. I'll look into grovia since they might snap into my best bottoms. I guess even though a diaper like the OS Simplex is more pricey in the end I'll be able to get some money back. Thanks ladies off to the FSOT!

Re: Does my perfect diaper exist: AIO or AI2 with no MF, and stay-dry inner?
-Simplex OS has the option for staydry
-Grovia hemp inserts are staydry -IttiBitti SIO are bamboo with staydry I'm pretty sure the Grovia inserts only snap into Grovia diapers. They use a different snap than most other diapers have. But you can find the discontinued colors or prints fairly cheap. Another option would be to try the new Diaper Safari Trifold inserts. They have a staydry layer so you could just trifold and stick it in any cover you already have. Or use your pocket diapers as covers.

So anytime Grovia staydry inserts are on FSOT that means the hemp/microfleece?

Re: Does my perfect diaper exist: AIO or AI2 with no MF, and stay-dry inner?
My whole stash is natural fiber AIOs and AI2s. Piddle Poddle Cadillacs are one of my favorites, but hard to find on here. Padded Patootie are my other favorites, but I've never seen one on here. She has an Etsy store and a Hyena Cart store. I also like Bottombumpers and Simplex.
