Can anyone recommend a good agency in NC?
We are in NC and are considering an infant adoption through a private agency. We are unsure whether we want to adopt domestically or internationally but we are leaning toward domestic, mainly because it would be difficult for us to travel internationally. We have done foster care for 3 years and have adopted 3 boys through social services. We would love to have a girl now. We have fostered 9 girls since adopting the boys. None of them have become adoptable and I am just a little burnt out on foster care. I would also like to know if it is possible to specify gender when doing a domestic adoption.

Some countries don't require you to travel for international adoption. Korea and India are two that come to mind.

Congrats on your 3 boys! We have been FP 2 yrs with only one placement who was r/u'ed. Good luck with the new phase of your adoption journey.

Two of the boys are siblings. One is from a different family. Both birth moms ended up relinquishing before TPR was completed so the adoptions were rather quick compared to most done through the foster care system.
