I was wondering if you think the covers run true to size or slightly bigger or smaller?

true to size. but i was always able to extend our wear to slightly beyond the official weight bracket. that's because they have a nice rise and great inner leg thingies (lol), in my opinion.
these were my absolute favorite covers of all.
