What a disappointing day :(
I went in to the doctors today to get cleared to go back to work (I have been on bedrest for four weeks now due to hyperemesis) and she didn't clear me. It turns out I have a cervical polyp that is in a bad spot so they can't remove it until delivery otherwise it puts me at risk for preterm labor. I had never heard of this before! Has anyone ever experienced a cervical polyp during pregnancy before?
To make matters worse I haven't gained 1 pound! I was shocked...I thought for sure I had gained weight but I haven't gained any since I have gotten pregnant. My doctor was a little concerned as she said this puts me at risk for preterm labor. May cannot come fast enough

So sorry. I know it is super tough but I know from having preemies I would walk through fire and saw of limbs to prevent it.
Rest and do what you can. This too shall pass and hopefully you can start to gain.

I am so sorry that you got that news. :-( No experience with it but it sounds sucky! I am on bedrest until I deliver as well. How is the hyperemesis going?

Re: What a disappointing day :(
I have a cervical polyp that comes and goes with every pregnancy. I've never heard of a polyp being a reason for bed rest though. I even had mine removed during my 1st pregnancy with no issues at all.

how are you doing dear? I have no experience with the polyp but this is my 3rd HG pregnancy. Hope you are hanging in there! I found the ladies http://www.facebook.com/groups/Hyperemesisgravidarum/ to be wonderful support so far.
