period back at 4mo pp

So I think my period is returning although I'm still breastfeeding on demand and through out the night still. For a little while she wasnt eating for 6 hours over night but now she is back to every 3.

Will my period go away again if I begin pumping more to make up for what shes not eating through out the night and to make the stretches not so long of her not eating.
Or is aunt flow here to stay?

Your cycles can come and go with BFing. You can have spotting at random times, longer than normal cycles, just bleed for one or two days.... really your cycles can be quite wonky when nursing. Weird is the new normal in the world of parenthood and postpartum.

Mine returned at 4 months PP both times despite exclusively BF'ing, including all night. Everyone's body had it's own way of doing things. I wouldn't expect it to go away.

Mine came back at 5 months pp and my ds breastfeeds 3-4 times a night at the least!

Happened to me with DD1 :/ BF'd on demand 24/7 and it still came. DD2 I fed the same way and it came back at 9 months.

Mine usually comes back right after my pp bleeding is done: +/- six weeks, while nursing on demand and through the night. It's not fair. Some of us are just lucky, I guess!

are you eating anything with soy in it? perhaps energy bars? thats the only reason I got mine so early (and also stopped my milk) so watch that. but once I eliminated all soy, I didnt get a period till 16 month postpartum

That was me! DD nursed every hour and a half round the clock until around 6 months, and every 1 1/2-2 hours at night until she was a year old, and yet, AF came back at 5-6 weeks PP and visisted every 4 weeks afterwards like clockwork
