DS was born via c-section on Feb 2. I've been having the whitish lochia for a while now and yesterday it seemed a little pink, today more-so. Is this something I should call my OB about, or wait and see if I'm starting my period. He's not even 2 months old for crying out loud! He's only breastfed, I should NOT be having a period- no one needs those hormones and mood swings with not getting much sleep, it just shouldn't be allowed!

I got my period back early, at around 7 weeks. I was ebfing, co sleeping, and started back to work at 6 weeks, where I would pump 3x a day while I was away. Sometimes periods just come back early.

Took me 6 months, but I bled for 11 weeks after DD was born...

Some people just get unlucky and get it early.

5 months while exclusively nursing one baby and tandem nursing a toddler
4 months while exclusively nursing one baby

If you have a higher estrogen level, you are more likely to get your period back sooner.

I have spotting on and off for quite a while after birth (vaginal) each time, but it's not AF returning. That happens at the 4 month mark for me each time, despite EBF'ing.

I ctually don't mind getting mine back early. We use FAM and it is nice to know to expect it monthly once it happens for the first time. Also I often feel crampy for weeks or months before it actually starts, and once it comes and stays, that doesn't happen so much.

My little one is 15 mo and I still haven't :-) I am nursing and also have the Mirena, so maybe I never will!! I'm ok with that!

With both of my exclusively breastfed babies, I got my period 6 weeks after my c sections. I was SO upset, lol!
