My boob is not a burger!

My 9 month old does this too and has for months. He pinches hard too. I got a nursing necklace and it has helped. He plays with that now most times. When he wants to put a boobie in his mouth he will grab it like a burger and plop it in. My hubby thinks it is funny. I find it funny unless he is squeezing hard or pinching.

Thanks all mamas for the advice and letting me know I'm not the only one. I do find it funny, hence the name, the cheeseburger grab. Funny, until it get hurts. If only the cutie would do it gently.

My 14 month old does that a lot. Another thing he does is slaps my chest. Now that he is older let down takes longer since I don't have as much milk. So I think that's why he does it

My 7 month old does this, and will knead if letdown doesn't happen when she wants it to.

Okay, I know it it's not very funny to get pinched in the boob, but it was such a good description in the topic here, so I had to laugh..
I do hope you find some way of stopping him from pinching you, though.
My 4 week old pinches occasionally, but mostly he wants his hands near his mouth, because I guess he's still used to soothe himself with sucking on his fingers from all that time in the woomb. I often try to let him hold my finger, and put the other hand underneath my other arm.. Maybe he won't get used to the burger grip?

Oh, btw - when my other kids have gotten bigger (like 12-15 months maybe?) they've stopped scrathing and pinching my chest, and started to tickle, stroke or pat. That's pretty nice.
