Tired of crazy cycles!
Ever since my early 20s I had an extremely predictable 28 day cycle (almost down to the hour). Ever since af returned pp it's been all over the place. I had a couple 28-29 days but mostly 31-32 or longer. All of a sudden this morning I start spotting on cycle day 24!!! Which means af will start tomorrow (the spotting the day before af is also a new thing). I think this is the shortest cycle I've ever had. We are currently tta and these wacky cycles are really irritating me. I know it's probably due to still breastfeeding, but it's driving me crazy! Anyway, I guess I just needed to vent.

I hear ya. I'm used to irregular cycles as far as days go, but ever since I started again pp I have this spotting that occurs for 3-4 days before my period actually gets going. We are also tta at the moment, so it makes me nervous every month. Am I starting. Or was it implantation? Drives me nuts!

Breastfeeding really can jack things up! We are TTC but my cycles are every 60 days so far! However I started heavy spotting today at cd27 so that's a normal length, but I didn't o this cycle! Grrrrrr!!!!

Re: Tired of crazy cycles!
I have always had really weird cycles. When I conceived my son I o'ed on cd28. My follicular phase is all over the place but fortunately my luteal phase is consistent so I know I can always expect AF 12-14dpo. Currently doing the 2ww (testing Saturday) and my last cycle was Dec 17 but I o'ed on Jan 9th.

Re: Tired of crazy cycles!
I was the same way, every 28 days before having a child. After having a child/breastfeeding/etc, my cycles don't regulate for months. It's normal.

I'm glad I'm not alone! Lol. I ended up spotting for 2 days, then had a three day period, then spotted for an additional 2 days! So seven days of
I'm pretty sure I didn't ovulate this past month either. It's probably the one thing I dislike about breastfeeding, I really like predictability! My iDevices are out to get me. Please excuse mistakes.

Re: Tired of crazy cycles!
Oh I so love being a mom!
AF returned for me immediately after my son was born, and was extremely regular in a strange way ... It was every month on the 22nd (the day he was born)! It did that for a year then got more predictable, but the weird part was, even though I'd ovulate every 28 days on the dot, AF would come 13-15 DPO, so it *appeared* that my cycles were varying by as much as 6 days. Then at 18 months, I'd start spotting about 8DPO, spot for 2 days, stop for 3-4 days, then have AF come on time ... turns out I'm a little short on progesterone. Nothing like children to remind us of our physical frailties.
