Anterior placenta

At my anatomy scan this week, the ultrasound tech said my placenta is anterior and that's why I'm not feeling movement. Anyone have any experience with this and know when I might start feeling her move? It's terrifying not having some kind of daily reassurance that there's still a happy little bean in there I'm 21w2d and overweight (size 16 pre-pregnancy), if that makes any difference. This is my second pregnancy, hopefully first baby.

I had an anterior with my second baby. It took until about 24 weeks to feel somewhat consistent movement with him.

DDC - Just to ease your mind, I didn't feel baby #3 until 24 weeks and had anterior placenta with him. Hang in there! (I'm due in July with #4 and have already felt this one a couple of times, so every pregnancy is different.)

I am 22 weeks with my first baby and my placenta is anterior. I just barely this week started feeling my baby; it feels like gas bubbles.

How odd - I felt this one move WAY sooner and overall feel tons more movement/kicks despite having an anterior placenta according to today's U/S.

I had an anterior placenta with my last one. I'm not overweight, so I didn't have that strike against me, but yes, I only felt movements in one spot, and not often until around 22 weeks I think? But then again, I was so busy working 9 plus hours a day and had 3 kids at the time, so I was like....super busy. I regret not slowing down when I should have though

I'm sure you'll be feeling baby within the next week or so!

DDC...I have an anterior placenta with this one, and I didn't feel movement until after 22 weeks. With my first two, I felt movement at 16 weeks and 14 weeks, so not feeling anything until after 22 weeks was quite unnerving! I'm now 29 weeks, and I feel baby all the time.

DD crashing

I've had anterior placenta's with my last two pregnancies. For me, I could still feel movements early, but could not feel movements from the outside (as in the kids or dh being able to place a hand on my belly) until MUCH later in pregnancy (probably 30ish weeks).

I had some early flutters with this one as well, but nothing remotely consistent, whereas with the previous 2, once I felt them I started learning their habits etc. I'm at 24 weeks now and am just starting to feel more consistency. I could feel #2 on the outside by 15 weeks or so, this one just in the last week or 2 we've been able to feel from outside.
