Re: NTNP January 13th- January 19th

Question of the week: When do you think is the ideal time of year to have a baby?

Answer: For me I would have to say early spring or winter. Having been very pregnant in the summer twice, and then having a Feb. baby, I definitely prefer being fat when it is cold out

Hope you all are having a good day!

Perfect time for a baby is spring, in my opinion. You get the fresh, cold/crisp air throughout your pregnancy to help with nausea and sickness, and then your newbie is born in good weather, and gets to enjoy lots of sunlight in it's early months. I don't like having babies in winter, because of the lack of sun and cold. I also don't like that they can get sick at such an early age, it can make that beginning nursing relationship harder.

Well, let's see.. I'm on CD 8 right now, so towards the end of the week I will start taking OPK's. I'm not really a big fan of October, was really hoping for September. But an October baby means they will be born before all the holidays, so that is fun.

I've had end of Oct(due the end of Nov), end of May(due mid June) and middle of April (due the end of May). I think April was my fav, but there are pros and cons to every season. I'm from KY, so I learned to LOVE each season for it's ever changing self.

And today I have EWCM, so I think I'm in or heading for the 2WW. Not feeling this to be out month at all, but I guess there is a slim chance, but I'm not crossing any fingers yet.

Well I had DS in January but I didn't live in a seasonal area so it was like spring year round. I guess I agree with mykzoofamily...a spring baby would be nice. I think more about what astrological sign I'd like to have that temperature outside actually . I liek the idea of a little March Pisces or April Aries.

I think March is a good time of year. Both of my girls were born then but I'll pretty much take a baby any day

My chart is still confusing - oh well At least it's notably incredibly short cycle.

Hmm...I think it also depends on where you are, you know? I had my last baby in June. I think in Texas, that was miserable. If it were New England, where my oldest two were born, it wouldn't be so bad. I had my 3rd baby in December in Texas. I don't think I'd want to deal with that mess in New England! My second was born in April (April Fool's Day, actually!) The day after he was born we got snow. That was in New England. It would have been totally beautiful in Texas where it's warm and beautiful, but in New England it was still kind of rough. I honestly think if I were to do it again and choose a time of year, it would be late Spring or even summer in New England so I could spend some wonderful outdoor time with the family, or early spring or maybe even winter in Texas for the same reason, beautiful weather and not too hot or too cold so spending time with the family outdoors isn't so bad. Of course, my babies have been May, April, December, and June, so I have no idea what it's like to have a fall baby! Just for fun (and because it would just be too amusing, I want our next to be born in July or January. We've already got family birthdays in February, March, April, May, June, August, and December. It'd be fun to have birthdays every month in a row!

I have an April, June, December and January baby so I would love a fall baby or late summer to even out the parties, however I absolutely loved having a spring baby, so April or May would be perfect also.
