PIS vs Freestyle
I have always used a PIS. Curious if anyone knows the difference between the PIS and the Freestyle...and which they prefer? Thanks!

Re: PIS vs Freestyle
From my understanding, the freestyle offers programs. However, I used the same routine each time on my pump in style so it seemed very pointless. I did upgrade this lactation to a lactina instead.

Where did you buy the Lactina?

Re: PIS vs Freestyle
Interested as well. I have a PIS but will be getting a freestyle this weekend. One for work and one for home. Yay for exclusive pumping!

Re: PIS vs Freestyle
I purchased my lactina on eBay. You need to buy the kit that attaches to it separately if you do not have one already. It is the same one that works with the symphony so I used mine from the hospital.

Re: PIS vs Freestyle
I had a PIS when I had my son. When I had my daughter I got a freestyle as a second pump. I would not go back to a PIS. For me the Freestyle was awesome because it was small and did not need to need to be plugged in. I also found the parts easier to keep clean.

Re: PIS vs Freestyle
I tried both and ended up returning the free style because I found it didn't empty my breast well. Now that I have been exclusively pumping for 6 months I would love to be able to move around instead of being strapped to my rocking chair with the PISA. I think if nursing doesn't work out with our second (which I hope it really does work!!) than I would get the freestyle...just to be able to attach it to you and walk around doing chores or even chasing a toddler at that point. And I might also have gotten bad freestyle pumps? If you get the PISA I would get the shoulder bag one as you get take out the pump in its own little case.
