Re: 19 week stillbirth...what to expect?
So very sorry that you had to experience this loss of your sweet Benjamin. I also had a late loss at 17 weeks and we chose to bring our little guy home as well. Praying for peace and healing. Don't rush the grief process. It is a process and it happens at different rates for different people. And take the time you need from work. I think I took 3 or 4 weeks and wish that we could have afforded for me to take a bit longer. And your children will grieve as well, but it isn't necessarily going to look like grief as you would think. Try to get some information on children's grief. I wish I could remember the websites that I read to link up for you. It might have even been in the grief packet that I got from the hospital.
Hugs again momma!

Re: 19 week stillbirth...what to expect?
I'm so sorry, Helen. I have a close friend who gave birth to her little son just three weeks ago--just shy of sixteen weeks gestation. My heart is broken for her (and for you). Please take care of yourself and let yourself grieve in whatever way feels right. I don't know you, but I am thinking of you and your little love.
