Re: Favorite things for a warm weather baby
I'm looking to get a k'tan breeze. I've never had one before (love my ergo), but it looks nice for a summer baby.

Re: Favorite things for a warm weather baby
This is an excellent question! I have been wondering the same thing. I'm thinking mostly a diaper and shirt/onesie, muslin blankets, hats and possible a full rash guard type outfit for the beach. We live in CA
, HOT summers.

Re: Favorite things for a warm weather baby
Just jumping in to see the answers. I have two winter babes (Jan/Nov). I love my A&A blankets too. I never liked onsies with my CD's before. So wondered what people thought about summer babes.

Re: Favorite things for a warm weather baby
Just remember that carrying your baby requires whatever is comfortable for you and never put up with judgement from ridiculous other mothers who are carrying in the 'latest' carrier when in fact, they should be putting the money from their diaper and carrier collection into an education fund or paying 3 extra mortgage payments. Other women make me laugh hysterically - you guessed it. I am the mom who tells it like it is. 100% honesty (diplomatic).

Re: Favorite things for a warm weather baby
I second the A&A blankets. Also, you can make a swaddle blanket out of an old sheet you have. I have seen women make nursing covers out of sheets for summer babies. I like diaper and shirt with light swaddle blanket.
For the light carrier, if you like sling carriers Balboa Baby makes one that is out of light material. Also, the Stretchy Wrap is a light material version of the Moby. LOVE my moby for my newborn babies!

Re: Favorite things for a warm weather baby
There is also the Beachfront Baby Water Wrap for summer/water. You can get it on Nicki's Diapers.

Re: Favorite things for a warm weather baby
Someone just told me about the Boba Air - I was thinking Ergo Sport, but that one is cheaper...I'd get a wrap, but they look too complicated and I don't know anyone to teach me, so gonna pass.

Re: Favorite things for a warm weather baby
What great ideas ladies! This is my 3rd baby but 1st in warm weather. I haven't unpacked the stored baby boxes yet, hoping to be able to use what we've got!
