Benjamin Goldfinch was born at 2.30 am on the 17th January 2013 at 19 weeks 2 days.
He was born complete in his sac with the cord wrapped twice around his neck. We took pictures and saw him and he is now home with us and his siblings where he will be buried under a native tree we will plant on our property.
I am sore and tired physically and pretty numb emotionally. We were also pretty overwhelmed when we were told he was a boy. We hadnt found out before his birth and a boy was what we wanted to complete our family. So bittersweet.
