Re: what are you growing this year?
I haven't decided where I'm ordering my seeds, maybe form a couple different places, I've gotten SO MANY seed catalogues in. I'm hoping to have more space than just my 20'x40' garden and one 4x8 raised bed but that probably won't happen this year. My Dad is supposed to be cutting the wood off our land so we can expandbut he hasn't been able to due to snow (and spring-fall he's a lobster fisherman with NO spare time), he'll probably cut it during our Feb or March mini thaw. But I still have to stump, do land work, get the soil ready (we have crappy soil) and DH wants to buy a camper and go on a late summer trip across country so that will probably eat up any funds I was saving for garden expansion. But anywho....
I know I'll be planting tomatoes and peppers, we have a huge tomato and pepper based diet. I'll be planting peas and pole beans. I'd like to see if I can get carrots and beets to grow this year (the clay soil prohibited thier growth last year, I'm hoping the soil is mended enough this year). But I'm mostly going to focus on the tomatoes and peppers (oh and onion) and see if I can't get a ton of cilantro to grow (which I should start now, it's pretty SLOW growing), oh and I want to move my strawberries out of the gutters and transplant them to a raised bed, and plant herbs in the gutters instead. I currently have some cilantro, rosemary, basil and one other herb I can't remember growing in pots inside (plus one tomato I saved fromt he gardent his fall. it had died but a new shoot came up and it's quite tall, tho scraggly looking, and has 2 flowers on it).

Re: what are you growing this year?
My ultimate goal is to have something besides zucchini. There is only so much zucchini one family can take!
