Thanks for sharing your story! I too had a natural birth with my second child in a hospital, and I was so happy with the result. A birthing center would have been even better, but the hospital was my husband's deal and the doula was mine. Labor was hard but I had NO recovery. Pooped a couple hours after easily. What a nice surprise!

Congrats!! I had an awesome natural delivery in a hospital with #2, it's nice for people to see that it's possible. Planning a birth center delivery in a few weeks with #3 and I hope it goes just as smoothly!

I really do hope mamas are encouraged with this as another example of how it is possible to deliver naturally in a hospital (I honestly felt it was impossible after DS1). The closest birthing center to us was 2 hours away and quite expensive, so we really had to use our hospital but it worked out Good luck to you next month - I hope your labor and delivery go great!
