Help with a chicken and noodles recipe
I roasted a chicken for supper and I have enough chicken left to do a chicken and noodle dish tomorrow. How do I throw this together? I have the following ingredients on hand
cream of chicken cream of mushroom egg noodles chicken broth various shredded cheeses I used to have a recipe but it is missing in action right now.

You can saute mushrooms on high heat, add in minced onion, reduce some sherry or white wine, reduce some chicken stock and add in some sour cream. That's a fricassee type sauce without the chicken cooking part. You can then warm your chicken in the sauce and spoon it over noodles.

Re: Help with a chicken and noodles recipe
The cambells version is to literally throw it all together. I haven't done that in years because dd has a dairy issue. If I remember correctly you cook the noodles. Heat the soups and chicken (and some veggies if you like) together with a little milk. Mix noodles and soup mix, pour into casserole dish and top with cheese. Bake until bubbly.
