Best diapers for night use?
Hey all! I'm wondering what everyone thinks about what types of diapers are best for nighttime use? I'm considering getting some fitters and trying those. I've used pockets with two inserts and my babes still wake up wet so we've been using disposables at night. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Re: Best diapers for night use?
I use either BG 4.0 stuffed with two Joey Bunz hemp inserts and one Thirsties hemp insert. Or a Thirsties Fab Fitted stuffed with 1 or 2 Thirsties hemp inserts. And I *always* have her wear wool to bed... just in case.
At this point, it's probably over-kill because she's night-trained now, and probably only pees in her diaper 2x per month (if I don't get her to the potty fast enough when she wakes up... ), but I just love diapers and wool too much. LOL.

My son drinks all night(up to 25 oz) so we use a SoftBums Omni stuffed with a Thirsties hemp prefold, a Thirsties hemp insert & a MF insert. Then I cover that with an interlock wool soaker. He has a HUGE bum but it works!
I tried fitteds & wool but they didn't work as well and most have serged edges which cause problems for the baby. Jodie ~ mama to Big K, Medium K & Lil' k

Re: Best diapers for night use?
Our goto for 3 years was BG 4.0 with the OS microfiber insert and a joey bunz hemp inserts behind (initially small then Med). I feel that BG has the most stay dry suede cloth and I was taught the MF absorbs fast and the hemp hold the moisture back and have found this to be a great combination.

My infant is a heavy wetter. He stays dry throughout the night by wearing a fitted diaper with wool diaper cover. My favorite fitted diapers are babykicks and kissaluvs hemp.

For my toddler, we reached nighttime diapering perfection with this combo (COMPLETELY and AMAZINGLY bulletproof for us!!
)...Motherease one size fitted in organic cotton Flip "nighttime" organic insert pad folded inside the ME Disana wool pull on cover I have been CDing for over ten years and have tried a LOT of things and have never been so satisfied as with this. I would love to do an absorbency test...I think I could pee in it overnight and stay dry, HAHAHA!!! ![]() Blessings, mama!

What works best for us is a padfolded flat with a flip night time organic trifold inside a flip cover. Lasts 12 hours for my heavy wetting 26

Re: Best diapers for night use?
Perhaps I'm the anomaly, but my 2 mo DD goes to bed with a GMD prefold and Thirsties cover...and we've yet to wake soaked. I don't know why, but the prefolds seem to hold a lot more than the pockets we've tried.
