I don't think people are knocking them because the are Canadian/Chinese company. We do the same for American "rebranded" Chinese cheapies. They are in my book the first china cheapie but at least they aren't rebranded. Every company that sells them sells them as Kawaii.

I'm way up north so basically any of my cloth diaper shopping has been through google... Lol
We have a walmart here but even they don't have anything cloth diaper related, and if your 'lucky' there might be waffle training pants in stock 2 x's a year... lol

Ok, I just checked out lil helpers and they look like alvas with a snap in liner...
And they're manufactured in china.

I think it's the front snaps that signal alva. Why would you purposely put them so close together. To me that doesn't help keep the front panel up better. I think it should be at least one snap between, instead of right next to each other.

Not true, but they'd like you to think so. They do have a "spokesperson" in Canada. They are using the same illegal importation practices as Alva to get you those low prices. They are also stealing copyrighted prints.

What import practices do you speak of with kawaii? I see that they do have several inspection certificates posted for safety. And what evidence do you have to support your claim that they are not based in Canada and manufacture in China like several US companies do?

I'm sorry, I can't provide a source at this time, but the results of lots of investigations into a few different patent- and copyright-violating and import tariff-shirking diaper companies will eventually come to light.

When said information comes to light, it may very change my buying habits, but I'm afraid I can't do so based on vague assertions.
