Re: OS with no rise snaps for daycare

Fuzzibunz Elite would meet those criteria if you stuff with other inserts, but I think the elites have three snaps on each wing. Otherwise, Omnis and Charlie Bananas are the only OS that I can think of that don't have rise snaps.

Since you mentioned GADs, I would go with those since they are on sale for super cheap right now. Also they were great with my reflux baby because they ride under the belly, but since there is elastic across the front pants can't roll into the diaper and get wet.

They have an organic cotton linen insert that's super nice! I know www.elemeno-pee.com carries it. But they have three snaps on the tab.

Your daycare is picky-picky!

Check out Teeny Tiny Hiney on facebook. She makes OS pockets with a hidden rise adjustment that might work well.

How old and big is your kid? I've never heard of so many rules from a daycare! I guess that's better than not doing cloth at all.

I don't think they're being picky. I tried OS diapers w/those darn front rise snaps and I had the same issue with them unsnapping, multiple brands including BG. Maybe they work well for some, but I hated them.

I agree! My sitter refuses to use anything with rise snaps because if they come undone they just look too confusing to put back together. BG wing snaps worked if the pocket stayed together, but anything with 3 wing snaps aren't "self-explanetory" enough so those won't be used either. I can use my BG 3.0s now because they are just open all the way, but cloth can just be confusing to people who don't use it often. I don't see it being picky. And from what I'm gathering, this is also mom's preferences, as well as things preferred by the daycare.

AppleCheeks with their bamboo inserts or Softbums Omni.

I really love Softbums- until I found flats, they are all I ever used. (Now I play with both, with equal fondness)

... no advice, I guess. Just a shout out.

PM me if you have specific questions about our experience with using them.

Re: OS with no rise snaps for daycare

Hi all,
Thank you so much for the suggestions! I am definitely picky and daycare is understandably picky. I am just grateful they take cloth. I think I am going to try some GADs, softbums omni, applecheeks and maybe rocky mt diapers. I know softbums has good customer service so if I have any questions they can help me out. GAD cs has been so so. Rocky mt is no longer in business so no cs there.
I think fuzzibunz have 3 snaps for the os elites but I could give the perfect size a try using hemp or bamboo inserts.
My son is about 15lbs, big thighs, small butt, big tummy. Anyone know how the applecheeks size 2 might fit?
Thanks for all the input! I really appreciate it!
