Fleece used in mass produced diapers is made for that purpose, so it is probably treated differently. Fleece used by WAHMs is not, so it may have residue from production that needs to be stripped. This is just a guess, but it could be your problem.
Otherwise, perhaps they are just not a good fit for your baby. I loved mine on my dc, and we never had leaks. I am sorry that you are so frustrated...I would be, too.

I just had a brand new diaper repel on me too. Overnight! It is ridiculous but if they work for your baby otherwise it will probably be worth the hassle.
