I would be doing the same thing mama! If your inserts are prepped and working great in other diapers, they should be working I these too IMO! How frustrating!

Fleece used in mass produced diapers is made for that purpose, so it is probably treated differently. Fleece used by WAHMs is not, so it may have residue from production that needs to be stripped. This is just a guess, but it could be your problem.

Otherwise, perhaps they are just not a good fit for your baby. I loved mine on my dc, and we never had leaks. I am sorry that you are so frustrated...I would be, too.

There may be some residue on the inners that's repelling the wetness. Just wash w/some hot water and dish soap, not too hard

I just had a brand new diaper repel on me too. Overnight! It is ridiculous but if they work for your baby otherwise it will probably be worth the hassle.

Ugh, I'm sorry that happened!

I'm going to try the blue dawn method on this one diaper. If it works, I'll do it on the rest. But if it doesn't, I think it's all going to go back, and I'll see if another diaper can work for us.

Still...with all the innovations out there, it's annoying to have to strip prior to use...I guess I'm just lazy...pretty soon I'll be complaining about having to turn on the washing machine =)
